In January 2020 I joined a thread about things that sounded invented but had actually happened. I contributed eight stories. One involved several days in an immersion bath.[^thread]

I had joined a programme I described in the thread as a “fork of Mars-500”. The bath was used to simulate weightlessness conditions. My role was literal: lie in it.

One day, I had a visitor: a grey-haired guy from the Apollo programme who had come to give lectures.

I did not even have to get up to receive him.
